nectar of the gods

Hello swappers! I am Becka and I am a full time textile geek (no really!) I coordinate education programs for an art center and dabble in a dozen other things. I learned to knit when I was 12 from a Norwegian lady who told me she was showing me the European way to knit (aka continental style) which was so much better than the American way. I was very impressed by that for many years. My first lesson had me making a hooded sweater for a 5 inch teddy bear and learning to cable. I took a knitting hiatus from age 12 1/2 until about 5 years ago. I like my coffee with lots of milk but no sugar and the best coffee I ever had was ground in an antique hand crank coffee grinder and made in a stove top drip coffee pot.
